User Management

To get started with EdgeFirst Studio, you can sign up to create your profile. If you have an EdgeFirst Studio account, you can login to EdgeFirst Studio. If you have an EdgeFirst Studio account, but you forgot your password, follow the steps to forget your password to change your password.

You can see your profile information and make changes to your information as you wish.

When you first sign up to EdgeFirst Studio, you will also automatically create your own organization. You can find more information for managing your organization. For multi-tier users, follow the workflow below for inviting new users to your organization.

A trial user (Individual Tier) is given 20.00 USD worth of credits to experience the features in EdgeFirst Studio as shown in the Quickstart Guide. Note that for multi-user tiers, the credits in the organization will be shared amongst the members. You can find more information on the billing details.

Inviting New Users

This guide will walk you through inviting new users to your organization once you have logged in to EdgeFirst Studio. By signing up, you are the admin of your organization. You will create the accounts for other users in your organization that will be shown below.

Visit the Admin Console

When you log in, you will be first directed to the "Projects Page". Click on the "User" button that is found on the top right of the navigation bar as shown below. You will see three different options, click on the "Admin Console" button.

This will navigate you to the "Organization Information" page. Shown below is an example.

Proceed to the next section below for creating the accounts for the new users in your organization

Add New Users

Navigate to the "User Manager" page by clicking on "User Manager" as shown below.

From the "User Manager" page, we can create new accounts/profiles for new users by clicking either the "Create New User" button or the "New User" button as shown below.

This will bring you to the page that allows you to specify the new user's information as shown below. Here you can specify the new user's first and last name, their login credentials such as their username and password. Finally you will need to specify their email and their role in the organization.

Once the fields have been entered, go ahead and click "Add" on the bottom right to add the new user as shown below. Otherwise, click "Back" to abort the operation.

Now that you have created the account of your new user, share the login credentials to the person assigned to this account. Next prompt them to change their password or make any changes to their profiles as necessary.
