Organization Management

When you first sign up to EdgeFirst Studio, you will also automatically create your own organization. An organization allows multiple users to access your projects, but at the start, you will be the only user in your organization. However, you can create multiple users/profiles in your organization to allow collaboration between members in your team. In this way, multiple members can be assigned to your organization.

You can find the information of your organization by clicking on the "User" button that is found on the top right of the navigation bar as shown below. You will see three different options, click on the "Admin Console" button.

Image Limit

Under "Security", you can set a warning if the number of images in your organization exceeds the limit specified. The storage of images costs credits and increasing volumes of images will incur more costs. This feature was added to provide warnings that the amount of images stored has exceeded the limit you've specified. You can find more information underBilling Information.

You can set the image limit warning as shown below. Once the value has been set, go ahead and click apply to set the limit. Otherwise, you can click on "Cancel" to abort changes.

The "Admin" user has read and write access to all projects, datasets, and model experiments in the organization. The admin can also add new users, remove existing users, or edit user information in the organization. This user has full access to the organization.

The "Audit & Label" user has limited access to EdgeFirst Studio. The only features available to this type of user are auditing and labelling in the task board.

The user with "Custom Permissions" has specific permissions on different elements of EdgeFirst Studio. These elements are "Projects", "Datasets", "Trainer", and "Task Board". You can set "Read-Only" permissions to allow users for view-only. The permission for "Write" allows the users to make changes to the elements such as creating their own datasets or modifying current datasets. You can find more information on these elements under the EdgeFirst Studio: Overview

New Users

From the "User Manager" page, we can create new accounts/profiles for new users by clicking either the "Create New User" button or the "New User" button as shown below.
